Current Volunteer Opportunities

Description: Volunteers are needed for our Fall Food and Coat Drive taking place on November 7 and 8, 2026 benefiting our Sharing parish partner, St. Moses the Black.
Time Committment: Various two-hour shifts throughout the two days.

Description: Volunteer ushers are needed to help seat people. Volunteers will also be needed to prepare refreshments, serve them after the concert and clean up afterward.
Time Committment: Two hour shifts at each Mass and Hospitality before and after the concert.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities
-
Liturgical MinistriesPRAYER & WORSHIP
Description: Get more out of mass and glorify God! Consider volunteering in any of our liturgical ministries. Our online scheduling system helps parishioners plan ahead for family events, being out of town, and finding substitutes when an unexpected conflict arises.
Greeters and Ushers assist worshipers to fully and actively participate in the celebration of mass. This includes greeting, ushering, and – most of all – being a warm presence for all who come to Saint Anne!
Eucharistic Ministers serve the community by distributing Holy Communion to the congregation during Mass.
Lectors proclaim the Scriptures at Mass.
Altar Servers assist the priest at Mass. Children ages fourth grade and up and many adults serve as Altar Servers at Mass. Annual Altar Server training happens at the start of each school year, and new servers training is conducted throughout the year.
Sacristans prepare the physical objects and elements used in the Mass and other liturgies and when the liturgy is over, clean and put away the objects and vessels that were used.

Liturgy of the Word for ChildrenFAITH FORMATION
Description: Volunteers are needed for the Liturgy of the Word for Children which takes place on Sunday mornings. Volunteers read the Sunday readings to children and help explain the readings in a meaningful way using resources supplied by the parish.

Time commitment: Once a month
All volunteers who will have access to or work with children must undergo a background check and safe environment training before they can begin service.

Seasonal FundraisersCOMMUNITY LIFEDescription: Help chair, co-chair or serve on a committee for one of our seasonal fundraisers and help support our parish community!
Annual Golf Classic: Held every year in the Fall, the event kicks off with a buffet lunch, golf and ends with dinner, entertainment, silent auctions and raffles.
Trivia Night: Held every year in the Winter, this is a fun-filled night of friendly competition and offers a chance to show off your team’s smarts and themed table creativity.

House of Hope ResaleHOPE MINISTRIES
Description: Join the dedicated volunteers at House of Hope Resale, a nonprofit thrift store run through Saint Anne's Hope Ministry program. Every hour you give helps support local families facing financial hardship.
Volunteers are regularly needed for the retail store - sorting clothes, restocking, and so much more. To learn more and inquire about volunteer opportunities, click HERE.
