Children's Liturgy of the Word

We celebrate the Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLoW) on most Sundays at the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. liturgies. The purpose of CLoW is to provide our children in 1st through 5th grade the opportunity to hear and celebrate God’s word at their own level.

During the opening prayer, the presider will send the children off with adult and teen ministers to the Chapel, where the Sunday readings from the Children’s Lectionary will be proclaimed. The homilist will utilize materials provided by the liturgy office to guide the children’s reflection on the readings and lead them in intercessions.

We warmly invite parents to join their children to see and hear the good news as part of this enriching experience.
