We believe the Saint Anne Catholic Church Sharing Board brings the Gospel’s call to love into action through:
Faith Sharing: Deepening our spiritual bonds
Bridge-Building: Fostering friendship and understanding across communities
Resource Sharing: Providing financial support, food, clothing, and volunteer time
Parish Engagement: Connecting members directly with outreach activities
Through these efforts, we live our faith by serving others with compassion and solidarity.
Parish Sharing is an Archdiocesan initiative that builds bridges between communities of different cultural and economic backgrounds. Parishes are paired together to share faith, resources, and mutual support.
Saint Anne Catholic Church has been part of this program since its inception. Our Sharing Parish is St. Frances of Rome church and school in Cicero.
Our Sharing Board oversees this relationship with St. Frances of Rome and its food pantry, St. Moses the Black Food Pantry.
Monthly donations from “Gold Envelopes,” Parish Sharing Envelopes, and electronic gifts via GiveCentral directly support the needs of our partners. The board also works to build meaningful connections through service and community engagement.
Ongoing initiatives include:
The Advent Sharing Tree, benefiting St. Frances of Rome families in need
Food drives for St. Moses the Black
Joint school activities with students from Saint Anne Catholic School and St. Frances including student exchanges, pen pal programs and more
A tutoring program that supports students through academic mentoring and faith-based community connection.
We welcome new members! If you’re interested in learning more or getting involved, please contact our chairperson, Bill Sneed at [email protected].
