Welcome to the Music Ministry at
Saint Anne Church-
The Music Ministry at Saint Anne exists to support and enhance the sung prayer of the entire assembly. Through the rich blend of voices, harmonies, and instrumental sounds, our ministry adds depth and beauty to our worship.
Every member of our music ministry shares a common goal: to lift hearts and minds to God through active participation in music and song. To help fulfill this mission, we offer a variety of choirs and instrumental ensembles for parishioners of all ages and musical backgrounds.
About Our Liturgy and Music Director, Rory Cooney
Rory Cooney has served over 31 years as director of liturgy and music at Saint Anne. Since 1984, he has composed or contributed to nearly twenty collections of music for worship with his wife, Theresa Donohoo, and friend Gary Daigle. A contributor to several periodicals including Pastoral Music, GIA Quarterly, and Today’s Parish, he was the recipient of the 2014 Pastoral Musician of the Year award from the National Association of Pastoral Musicians, and served for six years on the steering committee for the Liturgical Composers Forum, three as chair. He also served as a clinician with the North American Forum on the Catechumenate for over 25 years. Rory is the author of Change our Hearts, a book of Lenten reflections from Liguori Publications. Married to Theresa Donohoo, he is the father of six and grandfather of seven.

Adult Choir, Cantors, & Musicians
Adult Choir: The adult choir sings year round at the 11:00 Mass Sunday and on other holy days and holidays as needed. Rehearsals are weekly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.
Cantors: Cantors are recruited from and rehearse with the other choirs. Anyone interested in cantoring should join a choir that sings at a Mass that suits their schedule.
Instrumentalists: Individuals who are competent in various musical instruments are encouraged to audition.
