A SINGLE WORD · No hyphen—no space—no tricky mid-word capitalization · A single word capturing the intimate connection between the virtues of faith and justice, which we know to be habits of the believing heart · Challenges those who elevate one over the other, separate the two, or render one instrumental to the other · As old as the Hebrew prophets and one familiar to Jesus · An underlying principle, permeating all aspects of parish life
MINISTRY OF SAINT ANNE CATHOLIC CHURCH The “capital F” Faithjustice is a ministry of Saint Anne Catholic Community. It sits within the Human Concerns Commission—one of the four commissions that forms the structure of our parish ministry.
WORSHIP, FAITH FORMATION / EDUCATION, and COMMUNITY LIFE are the other three. While it is situated in Human Concerns, the open network of our logo reflects the fluidity and interconnections of our four-commission structure. Faithjustice is constantly collaborating with other ministries in the Human Concerns Commission
ENCOUNTER WITH THE “FULL GOSPEL” Faithjustice connects our personal journeys of faith to the social obligations of being: · Children of God and in relationship with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit · Members of families and households of faith · Residents of Barrington and other surrounding communities · Members of the Archdiocese of Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area · Citizens of Illinois, the United States and the world
It is an amazing web of interconnections that commits one to action for the common good.
