Learn about the two Italian laymen, Blesseds Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati who Pope Leo XIV will canonize together on September 7, 2025. 

Born in 1991 and raised in Milan, Blessed Acutis, was known for his devotion to the Eucharist and creating an online exhibition of Eucharistic miracles. He used his tech skills to evangelize and was noted for his joyful faith and compassion for others before dying of leukemia in 2006 at age 15. 

Born in 1901 and raised in Turin, Blessed Frassati was admired for his deep spirituality, service of the sick, love for the poor and enthusiasm for life. He died at age 24 after contracting polio.
