Divine Mercy Sunday is the second Sunday of Easter and it is the Octave Day of Easter. The Divine Mercy Sunday Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, April 12th in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. In preparation of this day, you may want to pray the Divine Mercy Novena from Good Friday, April 3 through Saturday, April 11. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available on the preceding day, Saturday, April 11th at 9:30 a.m.
The message of Divine Mercy is clear – God loves us and wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins. On Divine Mercy Sunday, we reflect on the extravagant mercy God shows for us throughout our lives. We call upon God with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. We do this through our actions, our words and our prayers. All are welcome to attend.
